So here's my thought process today:

To compensate for the 6-7 weeks of no blogging, I figured I'd blog about random ass s*%$. Here goes:

My Favorite Movies (in no particular order):
Fight Club - because almost every woman loves Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.
American History X - I dare someone to utter that this was a terrible movie. I'll fight cha. ha ha.
Pretty Woman - I'm a lady, what can I say? LoL
United States of Leland - ever seen it?
Harry Potter 1,4,3,5,2 (most fave to least fave) - the computer graphics are absolutely fantastic.
Marvel movies (except for Sin City) - Fantastic Four, X Men....awesome movies!

My Favorite Genres:
Comedies - I love to laugh
Documentaries - I love to acquire new knowledge
Action - A girl needs some action in her life..
Drama - not that my life isn't full of drama already....
Horror - doesn't really scare me, but it's nice to have a gruesome laugh sometimes..

And My Favorite Genres of Music:
Punk (mad stoked for the No Use for a Name (NUFAN) and Strung Out Concert next week, btw!)
House (Chicago, Hard, Electro)
Hip hop (Old school, some New school)
Jazz - classic.

Okay, so what other random facts can I let you in on?

I've had three black-eye's today. And by Black Eye, I mean Starbuck's coffee. It's two shots of espresso in a large black coffee. Wow. It's 7:40 pm and I feel wired. I guess listening to Deadmau5 is only getting my blood pumping harder. Oh, another fun fact: Deadmau5 = one of my favorite DJs.

DJ F.U.N.K ---> also one bad ass mother fuck@....I'll upload some shhhiiieeeettt later.

Just thought of something:

1. I'm always cold.
2. I sleep with my eyes open.
3. I snore.

And now that I've revealed such a personal side of myself - I'm out! Updates later. And don't worry, I haven't forgotten. I will mos def fill you in and catch you up on my life while I was M.I.A for ~ 6 weeks. But for now, back to dnatube.com.

Living up to my end of the deal...

Dear you,

If you've been following my live journal, I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't really lived up to my end of the deal. I know I know, I promised a "daily entry" but I guess I forgot to factor in the whole ordeal with my laptop kicking the bucket, and me losing my iPhone less than 48 hours after purchasing it - and hence, no internet connection!

So, now that all this drama is almost over, I'm on a very generous friend's computer ranting about how the past 6 weeks (basically since my last entry) have been extremely interesting...to say the least.

Oh, sorry to cut you off....I'll be right back. Gonna catch up on some Family Guy. I know. Ramblings of an idiot. Gotta stay tuned to hear about what the f*@%'s been going on in my life.

What scientific or medical breakthrough do you most want to happen in your lifetime?

I know this sound so cliche, but discovering a cure for HIV/AIDS is something I want to see happen within my lifetime. As a scientist, I believe that it's not that things do not exist, it just hasn't been discovered yet. I know we're coming closer to a cure, or for all we know, this is already possible. All I'm saying is that if this medical breakthrough can occur in my lifetime, I will die a happy woman.

First Live Journal entry. I can feel the pressure. As you can tell, I'm a little sarcastic. Well, some may call it that, others tell me that I am witty - or just a plain old smart-ass. I guess since this the first entry, I should tell you what I'm about and why I'm here.

I don't need to tell you anything actually. I want to let you in though. See, I've always been a dabbler (n. a person who dabbles into all sorts of things) and one of the things I've 'dabbled' in, has been modeling. I started as a kid posing for picture frames (you know, those lame pictures you get when you purchase a frame? Yep! I was one of them..) Anyways, that stopped when I hit my teenage years...It wasn't until I was in my mid-teens that I did the whole car modeling thing...then I got discovered at a local fair/carnival. This modeling school offered me a free scholarship. How lucky of me. lol. I graduated from this school and did some modeling in my hometown. Anyways, we'll fast forward to today.

Actually, I'll start at the beginning of the new millennium. I moved to a much bigger city - a lot more cosmopolitan, eccentric....for school. I met my photographer (it's funny how I call him "my" photographer like he's my possession or something - I don't mean for it to come off that way - it's just difficult to express one's tone using words) a few years back and I fell in love with his wife and his artwork. See what I study in school is anything but artistic. So, when I met Mary Bogdan and Sol Lang - I thought to myself, "this is what I should be doing."

And by that I mean, ART. Dancing, photographing, making music, modeling, etc...When I do get a chance to get in touch with my artistic side (through dancing, modeling, writing) which is not very often seeing as though in my line of work that opportunity is hindered daily, I feel completely liberated and centered. I don't know how to explain it. It just works for me. Anyways, I'm digressing. I swear, I have a point to this entry.

Okay, so now, lately - I have been receiving emails from fans suggesting that I sign up for twitter and other websites so that I can be "followed". You know what? I think if I was at any other point in my life - this live journal and twitter would cease to exist. I know now, after many years of being in school, that what I am about to graduate in is not what I will be pursuing as a career. Do what makes you happy, right? So, with that - I have decided that I am going to focus more on the things that matter.

Treat others how you would like to be treated - not how they treat you. I mention that because I've really re-assessed this semi-new-semi-careerpath I have decided to take recently and have realized that people take time out of their day to write you notes, sometimes little novellas. People are curious. It's human nature. People care. So this is how I've decided to give back to the community.

Which brings me here. My first journal entry. So I guess my aforementioned questions are hence, rhetorical. Now you know why I'm here - and if you don't - then it's okay. Re-read this entry. Maybe at this point, you've caught onto the fact that I have a tendency to ramble, my thoughts are very random, and I usually don't think before I speak, or type, in this case.

Alrighty, this is just a little on me. You'll get to know me more as time goes one. It's 2:40 am where I am, and I need to work at 10:30 am. Which, I know, seems like it's a whilst away, but reeeaaaaaaalllllyyyyy not. With that, good night world...
